Otitis was so cute, I bought the book.
It’s a children’s book. While Otitis is a real cat that was fostered and then adopted, the story is a made up adventure. It’s cute, though.
A friend of mine had a cat with no ears. He lost them somehow when he was a kitten, and was left with stumps. But he was happy and healthy. His name wasn’t quite as fancy as “Otitis,” though–my friend started calling him “No Ears,” which quickly got contracted to just “Nears,” which he carried for the rest of his long life.
What a sweet kitty. I keep picturing him with a little head band with sparkly cat ears.
Not sprarkly, but maybe something like this?
