Today, I was playing football, when one of the times, I get the occasional jam. Except it’s worse. I’ve sprained my finger before playing football (my ring finger), but now I have injured my index finger. This feels different. It still hurts in the joint, but when I try and bend it it feels tight and painful. When I try and straighten it, it feels like someone jabbed me with a knife through my joints on my hand. It also somewhat hurts my middle and ring finger, but that could just the connection of the same nerve or something. I hope it is just a sprain. Hopefully not something worse. What could it possibly be, as a heads up? I plan to go to the doctor soon.
It sounds like a problem with your colon. Get it checked out asap.
Um, we are talkin my finger pal…
Oh sorry. Can you place your finger on the x so that I can see it better?

Ok, can someone serious answer my question?
What range of answers do you expect to get? We cannot see your finger.
From experience I can tell you the following:
-
Is it bent somewhere that it is not supposed to bend? Probably broken.
-
Is it bent in a usual place but at an unusual angle? Probably dislocated.
-
Has the bone protruded through the skin? That is a compound fracture.
-
Does it look nomal but hurt like heck? Coud be any of the above, but not a compound fracture.
-
Does it smell like poopoo? It could be your colon after all…
Extreme swelling, hurts like hell. I don’t know if it is dislocated or sprained though.
