I don’t consider myself part of a organized church except the church that Jesus has set up. I do attend worship services at several such organizations, and God does use me to teach there, God has me working with several ministers.
Spirit is breath, wind, life, same word:
No I don’t speak Hebrew but do use the lexicons and have been lead to translate some scripture directly from Hebrew.
My claim is they are not the same word also, spirit is breath (as in Ez 37, breath entered the people and they became alive). Soul, from my understanding is 1st created underground, gets breath usually as we take our first breath, and we come into this world. And is what goes on after this life.
Going further on this one:
Soul and spirit can be divided.
In other words, everybody agrees with you even if they don’t know it? That saves a lot of time!
Not that I’m opposed to poetry, but hearts don’t think. All thinking, believing, and other mental processes take place in the brain.
Jesus not rising from the dead would prove the Word wrong. Talking about such apparent contradictions with what we view as reality would have to be done by in the Spirit of God, either by revelation to a single believer or multiple believers coming together.
No contradiction at all, God made that limit after the flood, those people were pre-flood.
God knows how to use a calendar.
KGS, will all due respect you should seek the Lord for help with this, you are so far off base. Demons came before I started church, I have diaries from my encounters with them. They are absolutely real. You really need to seek the Lord.
To find out your heart, seek the one who created it, and He will not only tell you but give you the desires of your heart, what you have been longing for all your life, and trying to fill with all the wrong stuff.
Again you are expressing the physical, when we are spiritual and eternal. And even science was able to suggest that memories are stored in the heart (google heart transplant patients memories)
But I don’t desire that they agree with me, but that we agree with God.
I find your arguments on this point unconvincing.
No. If you think this is a real thing, show me some proof.
It appears you are asserting that everyone agrees with you even if they don’t know it. (I already said this, but it looks to me like you’re responding by reiterating your point with different phrasing that makes your meaning more vague.)
This is the very sad state of medical science, transplant patients absolutely know that they have aspects of the donor’s memories in them. Then the scientists get a hold of them and brainwash them to disbelieve what they know is true, having them question themselves (think of the damage this causes to a person), just because science can’t find any memories in the heart, though they don’t know what a memory is at all. The feel confident enough in their abilities to tell a person what they are feeling can’t really be what they are feeling and what they are thinking can’t really be what they are thinking.
Sorry, no I don’t want everyone to agree with me, I want everyone to agree with God which will lead to the desire of their hearts, which is the best possible life for themselves.
I have seen way too many people have their heads disconnected from their hearts, continuous pursuing happiness instead of achieving it. Or worse living in misery but fooling themselves that they are happy.
What ‘instinct’ I have is the result of rational analysis; I do not come upon a path and say “oooh, my spirit guide vishnu says to go right”. I say, “I got no idea where to go, I see no hints that left is better, and in such cases, I always go right first.”
I do hav dreams, but I’m also one of those rare people who do no unplug by brain and set it on the bedside table before I go to sleep. All of my dreams are quite compatible with my imagination - that or they lift characters from television. Animated television, usually, as it happens. (Are you going to tell me now that the smurfs are actually angels and that the thundercats are actually demons?)
So, to you, I am a robot.
So, you don’t have a credible cite, then?
People “know” a lot of things that aren’t true. Feelings have a reality to people, but that’s not the same as external reality.
Mainstream science can be closed-minded, but this is a goofy idea that sounds like a conspiracy theory.
Most people refuse to question themselves in a lot of cases. I disagree that self-examination is damaging.
I don’t think you have a better conception of memory than a neurologist does.
Mainstream science can be closed-minded, but feelings are not always accurate.
Yes, it’s terrible when people fool themselves.
would you say that about sexual orientation?
No, nor would I say that of the fact I get hungry. There is such a thing as biology, you know.
So,
How 'bout them Ouija boards?
Well to sum the 12 pages up then are either:
1- consciously or unconsciously manipulated by a person or persons
or
2- manipulated by good spirits
or
3 - Satan wants you to believe choice 1 or 2
And if you’re not sure which one it is, invite a few friends to come over and sit at the computer. Now, each of you place a hand on the mouse and instruct the Spirit of Windows to guide the cursor to the correct answer.
Or consider potential answer #4: Eris will make the mouse do whichever answer is funniest to Her.
