My son, my ex and I were really excited about going to the March on the Pentagon tomorrow (March 17). We made plane reservations two months ago. Guess what – Our flight leaving for DC tomorrow morning has been cancelled!!! (We’re in the middle of a snowstorm.) I am bummed because it would have been so exciting for our son to be there and participate. (I am also a little relieved, because the weather is so terrible.)
It turns out there’s a thing on the Boston Common on March 24, so I hope we will go to that instead.
But to everyone going to DC tomorrow… I wish I were there with you!!!
Our signs are already made, so we’ll bring them to the Common next weekend!
