Cute little stripey kitties! Squeeeee!
My Luna has tabby patches, and sometimes I call her my stripey monster. You can call them your stripey monsters if you want.

I’d name the male D-O-G, and the female Princess Priscella Jellywompkins.
When I was a young pup, me and my roomates adopted a similar-looking pair of felines (an orange male and a gray & white females). They were christened Alley and Oop.
Mel and Jason (Bourne)
My friend had a mostly-black one of them, which she did name Gremlyn.
You should name them after the greates Aussie soap, “Prisoner” ("Prisoner: Cell Block H).
You could name them Wentworth, after the prison or Vera Bennett or Joan Ferguson, after the “bad” prison guards.
Aussie cities, Perth and Darwin are good.
If I could have a kitty, I’d name it Merkin.
I always thought cats couldn’t be both orange and male? Something weird about the genetics - I don’t quite recall. . .
Orange cats are something like three times as likely to be male as female, IIRC. It’s tortoiseshells that are almost always female.
Huh, and Wentworth Miller is on **Prison Break **in the US. Coincidence?
The gene for orange coloring is on the X chromosome. There’s also a gene for black coloring that can appear on the X chromosome, but generally not on the same X chromosome as the one for orange. Female cats need both X chromosomes to have the orange gene to be orange, while male cats need only one. A female with one orange gene and one black gene is a tortoiseshell or calico, not pure orange. Tortoiseshell or calico male cats are rare- if you see a tortoiseshell or calico cat, something like 999 times out of 1000 it will be a female.
When I was a cashier, I always asked cat food-buyers the names of their kitties. This would have made my day.
That’s funny, I’d name the female D-O-G, and the male Princess Priscella Jellywompkins.
“Fry” is sticking, but “Laurie” is hinting that her name is something else. So, keep up the ideas!
We’re particularly open to other Futurama references. She’s not Leela or Amy, and my wife didn’t go for “Snu-snu”.
And when they do appear, they’re generally sterile chimeras.
Maybe LaBarbara? Or Roca, after the countess?
You don’t need to call them anything. They’re not going to come anyway.
Fry?
Fry and Lois?
Fry and Fondue?
Fish and Fry?
Fry and Chicken?
Fry and Egg?
My cats consistently come when I call them, providing that I don’t call them when they’re eating, using the litter box, sleeping, or getting petted by someone else. They come running because they know that I will at least pet them, and it’s entirely possible that I am handing out kitty treats. They all know their names, too.
I’ve never really had to name a cat. I always just waited until the cat let me know what its name is.
And, of course, the kitties in question are adorable.
Please anyone name their kitty “Pilgrim” after the absolutely most damndest cat I’ve ever known. Ran over by a meter reader at an advanced age. Pilgrim was like a dog but he was a cat. Faithful friend. I never knew cats could be that cool until I had Pilgrim.
He was named after a line from a John Wayne film but Pilgrim wound up being as such, living on a couple of different continents and several states. He was my mister chee chow. Damn fine animal.
Fry and Fritter?
