Outlook 2002 welcome.msg

We will be rolling out Outlook 2002 to our users in the near future, and I want to be able to customize the Welcome message that is automatically sent to the INBOX.

In Outlook2000, this message was located:

c:\program files\microsoft office\microsoft\message.msg

this path doesn’t work for 2002, and I can’t find any doco on the web or from others on how to create a custom welcome msg for 2002.

Anybody got any insights?

This KB article states that the welcome message was removed in Outlook 2002. You may be out of luck.

huh, i don’t know how I missed that article, but I have hit or miss luck on MS’s site. Thanks for the link and I will end my quest.
