Currently though…I’m hailing from a different town. I’m currently residing in Whyalla, a lightly larger town about 260 km. up the coast. One thing about this town though…it’s the eighth wonder of the world. The only hole **ABOVE **ground!

I went to UNSW as well, but now only venture eastside on rare occaisions to meet with strange and shady characters … Ah, G’day there BYK, how ya be?

Not an Aussie, but lots of heritage and many distant cousins from there. My grandmother was born in Sydney, her mother was born in Benalla VIC, and HER mother was born in Tasmania in the 1820’s (and yet, near as I can tell, wasn’t from convict stock…). I have a huge photo of Cradle Mountain on the wall of my office, which receives many favorable comments.
And FWIW I have a daughter named Tasman, a (WARNING! TOO MUCH INFORMATION ALERT!) delightful product of our honeymoon down there…
