Palm OS Games

I bought a Palm game recently called Space Trader. It was a fun little game that combines space warfare with merchant trading.

It could have easily been one of those educational games you played in 8th Grade Social Studies, except for the fact that you can make added profits by blowing up trader ships and running narcotics and guns.

But the game lacked enough content to keep me interested very long.

Any other good Palm OS games out there?

I’d love to see an RPG.

Anyone have any favorites?

FreeJongg is a free (duh) and excellent implementation of the Shanghai tile-removing puzzle game.

My son is also addicted to several of Astraware’s Palm puzzle games – Bejeweled 2, Crazy Daisy, and Candy Train.

And if you have any old Infocom games lying around, CliFrotz lets you play them on the Palm.

Playing an interactive text game on your palm? Sounds like something a masochist would do.

My Palm has a keyboard, so that’s not a problem.

Hey, Space Trader is free! Maybe you got ripped off? As for an RPG, I suggest Legacy.

The engine also lets you tap on words, rather than type them, and has a pop-up menu of commonly used words, like open, take, etc.

Yeah. It was bundled on one of those 200 Games CDs (which is a bit of a rip because they give you each game in color,B&W and sometimes even grey and count each as an individual games).
