A long time ago, I asked a question about measuring cups. Someone gave me a link to this.
It is the measuring cup of Valhalla. And I want it. I do not want to join Pampered Chef. I do not want to host parties. I do not want to earn points. I do not want to meet with a Kitchen Consultant. I do not want any of their other products that I either don’t need at all or could get for the same price or less at a physical store. I just want this measuring cup, then I will never speak of Pampered Chef again.
But I see nothing on the site that says “Order here” or “Proceed to checkout” or “Move to cart”. I sent them my address a few days ago, and I’m now looking at a catalog which pictures the measuring cup but has no order form. I managed to create an account, which gives me the option to identify myself as a “Pampered Chef customer”, but says nothing about ordering.
They’re not going to let me order just one thing without going through a Kitchen Consultant. Are they.
I bought their ice shaver through a lady at work. Basically she set down the catalog and her name in the cafeteria and anyone who wanted something could order from her. I prefer that to being crammed into someone’s living room with 30+ strangers.
Probably not, if they’re going to go that far out of their way to hide the ordering mechanism. You can always wait for Alton Brown’s website to get them in stock (along with the salt cellars), or you can check here: http://theposhpeddler.com/Thermometer.htm
(last item on the bottom right).

if you call the pampered chef number and ask for a distributors name in your area, you can call the distributor and order it from her/him. they might even send you a catalogue if you want.
I just did this cuz i love the stoneware muffin pans
I love that measuring cup! I bought it a couple of months ago and have since made four batches of Special K bars [sub]well, except I do mine on the stove and boil the sugar and syrup for a minute[/sub]. Better yet, I got it for free, thanks to my mother and her leftover hen party points
Does anyone else find it neat that Tupperware has started making sales in malls? They still do the parties if you want, but if you only need one thing and they have it on hand, buy it and walk away.
