A new title has been released, Panzer Corps, from Slitherine.
It seems to be a Panzer General (SSI) clone, so if you miss that old title, you will probably like Panzer Corps. 
I bought a digital download last night, and played two scenarios.
It’s kind of funny, as I was just wondering why more PzGen titles hadn’t been published in a while, and voila! Too bad I wasn’t wishing for a winning lottery number…

I tried to go back and play PG a few years ago, but doing so meant messing with Vista and DOSBox, etc., and I couldn’t get it to work right.
And it even has Allied General, which is one of the hardest strategy games I’ve ever played. I remember going back to it after a few years away spent playing much more complex games like TOAW, thinking “oh, this is child’s play, I wonder how much easier this will be now that I’m not 15.” Needless to say, I got rolled by the AI. The Russian campaign is near impossible if you want to do better than your historical counterparts, and even British campaign is damn difficult.

And mine, I never played the original Panzer General back in the day but still have the Panzer General III: Scorched Earth disk. I’m loving the World War One campaigns in PG Forever. Thanks for the link.
