Talking to Barabara Walters from Jail
I know the first impulse is to laugh, but I’d like to think there’s at least a 1% chance that she’s learned something. There’s also this:

If her dumb act was indeed an act, then I’d like to reiterate what I said when speculating on this eventuality: Way to go, Paris. You fooled me.
I think up to now she’s been shielded from knowing how many people just can’t stand her. It must have come as a shock.
I always wonder if she’s seen that South Park.
Aint no actresses that can act that well.
Who cares if she’s found God? Call me when she finds some underpants.
I thought the quote would just be, “God is hot.”
She’s an actress? I’ve been mystified since I heard her thank her fans for their support. Why on earth would she have fans? What are they fans of?? Her mere existence?
Well, she was in *House of Wax, * which is like a whole bunch of punchlines all on its own.
She had (has?) a rather popular reality TV show. Don’t know if that makes her an actress.
I’ll be honest, I always figured the vast majority of her character was just that, an act. She’s made a lot of money by not doing a damn thing (aside from manipulating the rest of us to think she’s interesting) and that’s not something that can be done by your run of the mill idiot.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure she’s got an entire list of problems (psych, drugs, etc. and so forth), but I don’t think she’s nearly as stupid as she played up to be. Of course, I’d say the same thing about Anna Nicole Smith (though she was dumb enough to get far into drugs).
I wanted to make an off-color remark about how I helped her see God, but I’m kind of disgusted by the thought.
Hmmm… Paris has found God while in jail. In other news, the sky is still blue…
Score one for the atheists (and I believe she is ‘acting’ like an idiot when she is really only vapid).
Ironic…you’d think that for all the other “noodly” appendages she’s been touched with in her life, she’d have seen the FSM at least ONCE by now.
Of course she wants the media to focus on other, more important things like Iraq at a time like this. And by “a time like this,” I mean “a time when she’s showing that she’s not quite as smart as she portrayed herself in The Simple Life.”
The whole “Iraq is so much more important than me” spiel smacks of the beauty pageant “world peace” contestant speech to me.
I for one am very happy for her . I wish her all the best as it is a very tough road to walk even when your poor. I can’t imagine having her wealth the trials she will face. I hope she prays constantly and surrounds herself with others who believe. She will need thier help and guidance.
She found God? Was He missing again? That silly deity is always getting Himself lost! Maybe we should put a bell on him? I bet he was in the last place she looked.
