Park City, Utah

So through some good friends and pure luck, I’m going to Park City for the first weekend of the Sundance Film Festival. So I’m looking for recommendations on restaurants and nightlife. We’re all in our late 30s/early 40s so we’re not looking to get smashed on beer and Jagermeister, but do want some fun nightlife. So any and all recommendations (or places to avoid) are welcome.

Thanks.

Basically, if you stroll Main Street in Park City, you’ll find a good time. There are fancy restaurants, there are clubs, there are bars, and there’s the best pizza place in the whole state (The Red Banjo Pizza. Go there for dinner one night. It’s sooooo good). Keep in mind that in Utah, most of the places that serve alcohol are “private clubs.” Private clubs are the only places that can serve alcohol from 10: AM to 1:00 AM. If you want to drink in a private club, you can buy a guest membership for $4 that’s valid for 3 weeks.

Beer is 3.2%, but on the bright side, there are lots of micro-breweries in Utah. One is right there on Main Street. So, on the one hand, you have to drink more to get the same sort of buzz. On the other hand, there’s a huge selection.
