I’ve never been one to love TV relationships but I am dying to see what happens between Leslie and Ben. He’s a hottie and she deserves someone sweet and…into government like she is.
I also need my weekly dose of Ron Swanson. April & Andy’s marriage seemed to me like a stunt for some higher ratings but will it last? How much focus will there be on their home life/relationship at work?
I kinda liked that they married April and Andy instead of drawing out the “will they/won’t they” scenario season after season like so many other sitcoms.
Is Rob Lowe back this season? I liked his character.
I’ll bet the guy that got his facial hair singed off, for one. I don’t get to see every episode but this has always struck me as one of the better written, funnier shows out there. It’s always entertaining, even for those of us that don’t get to follow all the long running subplots.
I hope so (I’m too afraid to look and see spoilers). I know he’s back in Indianapolis and is definitely still Ben’s boss, so we probably will be seeing him.
“Li’l Sebastain” was probably the best episode of last season.
If anyone here hasn’t seen the ep yet, please do yourself a favor and watch it soon.
You won’t be disappointed.
*Side note. I thought Aubrey Plaza (April) looked fantastic at the Emmys. Just beautiful.
Great episode, although I’m sad the Leslie/Ben relationship is on hold. It was cute when he was giving all the reasons he was breaking up with her. (“I just don’t like you.”)
Ron’s quick getaway from Tammy #1 was inspired, and I loved the beard he managed to grow in just three weeks.
The subplot with the penis pics was a bit weak. And what was up with Rob Lowe’s hair?
I want some Entertainment 720 promotional fireplace bellows.
But even more than that, I want a magnet that will erase my credit cards including the debt.
While I LOVE this show, sometimes the reality is a bit stretched: A mid-level city hall employee announces a run for (a presumably part-time) city council gig, holds a damn press conference to do so, and there are *that many *people there?
I know sitting mayors in bigger cities than that that couldn’t get that kind of coverage if they threw a press conference to announce the second coming of Mohammad himself.
Terrific episode. It was good all around. But, the final scene with the first Tammy telling April to sit up straight (and Andy’s reaction to that) was the funniest part of the whole show.
