Party Quirks II: Electric Boogaloo

[QUOTE=DaphneBlack]
Dolores, are you connected with Obama’s operations in Chicago? I wish I could be there helping out!

So nice of you to ask! I wish I was. Instead, I’m stuck down here in Texas with a bunch of Republicans. I would love to be involved! How will you be voting, if I may ask?

I will be voting by post

A look at my location should reveal my preference I think.

LHoD, do you mean you visualise yourself in the post office whilst you are typing? How interesting, if so…

No, I mean I’m literally there. I know that’s hard to believe, and I wish I could offer you evidence of it, but all I can do is refer you to what I wrote above; that’ll have to be evidence enough.

Daniel

All beliefs deserve equal respect.

Well, I suppose I really ought to watch myself; because it’s tough to express a political opinion around here without getting in all kinds of trouble.

But I think Hilary Clinton is a product of her oeuvre and hence can never be construed to be a populist. Breeding will out.

In the interest of fairness, I should state unequivocally that I have radical leftist leanings.

How do you feel about punctuation?

With the exception of user names, I feel that we should all be absolutely sure that we are punctuating correctly. Nothing bugs me more than an inappropriate apostrophe or lack thereof.

My son, when he was little, used to have a frog-head hat. When he wore it, I would call him, “FROGMAN! Champion of Truth, Justice, and Proper Use of the Apostrophe!”

Yes. For sure.

[oog]I know I’d originally said Monday for a start – but then I realized that I’m going to be offline for most of the week of the 21st – starting probably Sunday afternoon the 20th. I wanted to make sure we’d have enough time to get in some good play before I left. Hope no one was too screwed up by this. Sorry![/oog]

Well, I’m going to brand myself a complete amateur here - but since I live in Rochester, and do a lot of my work in the area, I find it’s easiest to use Kodak products. Besides, it’s not like I’m trying to match studio quality pics.

Well, I’m always interested in hearing people talk about their religion or beliefs. Especially about trendy stuff like Kabballa. I know some people would be telling Auto to look into that to help him with his various problems.

Oh. He’s passed out.

(snaps picture)

Maybe we should get him some help?

Sorry, I had to leave to party for a while.

I think we should put all of the pies into the blender. It would make quite the psychedelic combination, don’t you think?

Do not blend the pies!

Why not? I want to blend the red berries with the blues!

Purple Pie Smoothie? I’m in. It can’t be any worse than the purple crap I had to drink when I was in that Heaven’s Gate cult.

Pies, lovely pies in a blender? Now that is lame – you can always trust a male to come up with one like that!

Or a chick that likes to swing. So hey, baby! How YOU doin’?

tdn: don’t take this wrong, but ever since you met the perfect woman who knocked your socks off and fell head over heels in love with her, I feel we’ve grown apart.

Other than that, I’m fine.

Ummmm, little help here?

I like mincemeat pie. But enough pie talk! Let’s talk zoos. I like monkeys, rhinos, wombats, zebras. Aardvarks and camels too. Not penguins, though. Anyone else have opinions?

Hmm… shouldn’t one of the hosts be calling for help for Auto? He is collapsed on the floor, after all. And they’re the ones hosting this party.

Maybe they don’t care if Auto, here, dies on the floor.
Say, Auto, what kind of help do you need, anyways?

Do you need an emergency tracheotomy? I’ve always wanted to perform one of those.
