I’ve been diving through a million old threads in the archives here, and some of them are pretty cool time capsules (August 2007 discussions of Superbad, discussions centered around life in the early to mid-00s, people’s life stories and developments- ah, the past!)
Most threads and topics on most message boards are probably not of the “timeless classic” or “living history” type, most are probably like most movies or commercials- easy to forget, not much to cherish.
While typing this post I got a recommendation for an ancient thread from 2000 called SDMB Nostalgia- not too much nostalgia could have accumulated that early on I suppose. What topics, comments, posts, or threads on this or other message boards/social media “take you back” or remind you of old things or preserve cool stuff? And which ones do you think deserve more discussion here in late May 2026? Let’s not “resurrect” these topics, let’s “bring them to life” or “give them new life” in this discussion! 
Btw: I’m pretty partial to the years 2001 2003 2005 and a little bit 2011 So anything from those time eras is great for me!
And don’t consider anything too “mundane” to talk about here- if you posted a long description of a BLT you were making on June 1st 2008, let us know if you still make BLTs that way now, or how your worldview on everything (including BLTs) has changed or evolved since that sandwich that day!
