We Protestant Christians have a bit of a problem that the Roman Catholics doesn’t have – any dern fool who got “ordained” somewhere can stand up and claim to be a leader in the Church.
Unfortunately, lots of people will believe him/her. And Pat Robertson is one of these people. He’s a smarmy huckster, peddling his own brand of watered-down Christianity just like many TV preachers.
Even the most cursory reading of Jesus’ teachings should be enough to convince anyone that he is not spreading true Christianity. I can only conclude that most Christians believe what they read in the “Christian” media and don’t bother reading what Jesus said.
