Hmm, I kinda think it does. I don’t consider “people with sincerely held, reprehensible beliefs” to be trolls, even they inspire the same sort of response from others as true trolls do.
I disagree. If some White Supremacist sincerely believes what he believes, but just comes onto this MB because he knows he’s going to get a rise out of people, then he’s trolling. He’s not trying to convince, he’s trying to create a reaction.

And I hadn’t read the previous two posts until now. 
At least two that I recall, one unrepentant and one trying keep his nasty impulses under control. With the sheer number of people who have cycled through the Dope over the years it would be surprising if we didn’t have a few, and indeed, we’ve probably had a number who wouldn’t admit to it and so remain unknown to us.
That doesn’t mean we have to encourage that sort of thing.
