Peeps! Yay!

Easter is just around the corner  You know what that means…Peeps!
I just got my first box this year…delicious yellow peeps. Yum!

I told you not to be stupid, you moron.

Where’s Ranger Jeff?? Hide those peeps, Rose, you KNOW what HE’LL do to 'em!

-Melin

Too late Melin…I ate 'em all

I told you not to be stupid, you moron.

I’m giving up sweets for Lent, so I’ll have to get my Easter candy fix now. Then, on Good Friday, I’ll load up on Peeps, Cadbury eggs, and pastel M&M’s, and start binging at 12:01 Sunday morning.

Remember, I’m pulling for you; we’re all in this together.

I plan on giving up lint for Lent, but only because it rhymes. Sort of.

Anyways, for we foreigners, what the hoohah are Peeps™?

Peep are sugar coated marshmallow candy birds. Usually yellow, available only around Easter.

I may remember; Involve me and I’ll
understand.” - Old Chinese Proverb

And they are yummmmmmmy!!

We are, each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another

I hadn’t realized that yummmmmmmy was an alternative spelling to nauseating.

Raise your hands if you pop a hole in the container so they get stale. It’s the ONLY way to eat them, ya know.

Ahhh! STALE peeps are the best! I’m rarely patient enough to properly age them though. I love when the thin little tail area goes all stiff and chewy.

I really can’t see the attraction here. Maybe I’m weird.
I love hollow chocolate bunnies myself! If you hold them just right, when you pop the head off, it makes a cool sound!

“If you hold them just right, when you pop the head off, it makes a cool sound!”

—Of course, the same is true of REAL bunnies . . .

I like the solid bunnies. Nothing like nawing on a bunny head to celebrate the resurrection

Actually, its the same bunnies each year. They just get resurrected…

I’ve got one word for this topic…
MICROWAVE!!!

I really try to be good but it just isn’t in my nature!

I tried that once, but it just got very big. It didn’t compare taste-wise to stale ones.

Cadbury Cream eggs were they best thing in the world when I was a kid. I thought I could crack them and make scambled eggs with them. mmmm…

Habit rules the unreflecting herd. - Wordsworth

I like peeps, but my favorite Easter candy has to be those Cadbury mini-eggs. Not the cream-filled eggs, but the little ones that are solid chocolate with an M & M-like coating. I ate an appalling number of those last year.

I haven’t seen any Easter candy yet. Easter is late this year…in fact, it’s more than two months away. I guess the manufacturers of Peeps want to get them in the stores early and give y’all plenty of time to get those things stale before the holiday!

Here’s a page with a shithouse full of peep links.

Take virtual Peep factory tour!
Watch 'em burn in the microwave!
Look at Peeps dance (instead of those overrated hamsters)!

And yes, even Peep porn parody!

It’s s-peep-tacular!!

Here’s mud in yer eye,
UncleBeer

Those hideous yellow birds are the main reason I believe in Satan. The only thing more evil than Peeps, is the dreaded circus peanut.

Cadbury Cream Eggs, however, are a Godsend.

“Life is hard…but God is good”

A friend used to butter the peeps before eating. Yes, it was sad and hard to watch. Nearly made you want to change over to the pink ones.

Oh, I’m gonna keep using these #%@&* codes 'til I get 'em right.
