Sensual Easter Candy Moments

I love this time of year, people. Peep time. Cadbury Creme Egg time. There is something about Easter candy that just makes me so happy and free…

Certainly one of my most favorite things about it is grossing out all the people who hate Cadbury Creme Eggs. CCE’s are one of those things you either love or hate with a passion. I am one of those people who enjoys nibbling off a wee bit of the chocolate top and then energetically sucking the creamy fondant center out of aforementioned wee hole. It is something that apparently induces vomiting in my husband. Amazing.

So, BodiceRipper, how YOU doin’?

Peeps.

Circus peanuts are also Easter related, and either loved or hated. I recently discussed on these very boards the merits of circus peanuts that have been left out for 24 hours. Long enough to become slightly stale on the outside, yet still gooey on the inside.

Eeeeew since when are circus peanuts Easter related? Unless you mean they taste like they were buried for 3 days.

Marshmallow Peeps are proof that God loves me and wants me to be happy. Oh, and beer too.

max carnage, hold on to your tummy. the people who brought you circus peanuts have branched out. they now have the same wonderfully nutritional substance shaped into bunnies, ducks, and scary looking chickens.

i use them in the peep kabobs. they are greeeaaat!

People hate Cadbury Creme Eggs? How tragic for them! Although I suppose that means that there are more left for me.

And for me, too. I can’t imagine not liking them.

Cadbury Mini-Eggs are great, too. There’s something about Cadbury chocolate that makes it twice as good as Hershey’s.

Feh, I’d trade every Peep in the world for one Reece’s Peanut Butter Egg. And every Circus Peanut for a Snickers Egg.

Yeah, I know they are the same candy the rest of the year but something about the shape makes it all the better!

I love it that a thread by this title was opened by somebody named BodiceRipper.

I second the Reese’s thing. Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups are nature’s most perfect food.

Have you tried the Cadbury Truffle Egg? Quite nummy!

I’m going to buy easter candy tonight…

Who wants peeps?

I’ve never had the Cadbury Cream Eggs, slthough I have seen them for sale. With all the chocolate out there are they really worth trying?

I love using my fingers to gently pry apart a Cadbury Chocolate Creme Egg, as my tongue slowly and lightly flicks at the warm, moist interior. Occasionally there is still a piece of foil stuck to the shell that I have to spit out. Ptooey.

Mmmmmmm. Cadilingus.

Seriously though. I love CCE and Peeps. I haven’t seen the Circus Peanuts bunnies or chicks, though I will be looking for them on my next trip to the grocery store.
My personal fave at Easter(besides Peeps)are those little candy-coated marshmellow egg thingies they always used at school for the Easter egg hunts.drools

I love Robin Eggs. They are basically malted milk balls with jaw-breaker type shells in white, pink, yellow, and radioactive blue. They say that there are 8 in a “serving,” but by the time I get to 8 I can’t feel my legs anymore.

Anything DoubleCrisp or Reese’s.

You guys are making me all tingly.

The best thing to do with a Cadbury Creme Egg is to get all of the creme out of it using your tongue. You don’t even have to put a big hole in the shell. Don’t suck, don’t use your finger… just lick.

Eeeeegh. I need a shower.

From this thread

My latest discovery is Cadbury Mini Creme Eggs, which come in boxes of a dozen. MMMmmmmmmm…because while I like the fondant center, there’s an awful lot of it and not enough chocolate. This is more proportionate. But I think I still like the Mini Eggs bestest of all.

And Robin Eggs.

And the local candy store’s Easter offerings, which are just heavenly.

Peeps are not worth talking about in the same sentence with Easter chocolate, the best chocolate of the year.
