I for one hate the damm things. I like tossing them into the microwave and make them get big, putting them on the grill and melt them, or just squishing them I would not put one in my mouth.

But you could put me in a tankful of Peeps up to my neck, and I wouldn’t eat a one. NOT A ONE! It’s about the only candy/sweet food I have no desire to eat.
Never had a circus peanut, though, so I’m not sure how they compare.
I for one NEVER eat marshmallows or any gelatin products.

I can join in! I know what peeps are! For once in my life, I can join in on a candy debate! I got sent peeps last month by my lovely friend Wicked Blue.
They are sugary goodness.
I ate marshmallow peeps at Easter when I was a kid for years, but then they started to look kind of cute, even though they really didn’t look anything like a real baby chick. Once in the middle of eating one I started crying, so I didn’t eat them anymore after that. The thought of eating one still kind of upsets me. Weird for sure, because I eat meat. Odder still, the chocolate rabbits never pained my conscience any. Anyhow, as far as peeps candy goes, I’m not really wild about marshmallow unless it’s in Mallo Cups.
Plus, you can do research on them.
They are only good when they are stale or melted by fire (IMHO).
ewww, can’t stand the little suckers! I never thought this would be a problem for me, but they’re just too sweet for me to handle. Ick.
they are fun to mangle, though. 'Specially in the microwave.

Peeps the evil marshmallow treat that arrives in the stores before easter. They come in a little box with a clear lid, they are shaped kinda like baby chicks with weird eyes, they usually have a yellow candy coating but nowadays they come in a rainbow of colors.
I am ashamed to say that I am a peep-aholic. The damned little birds peep to me from their shelves in supermarket aisle – “sugar and marshmallow – sugar and marshmallow . . . .”.
It’s bad enough to be inundated with these things at Easter, but now we have Halloween “peeps” shaped like pumpkins, and no doubt other holidays will start peeping soon too.

The only good peeps I’ve eaten were the heart-shaped ones for Valentine’s Day. I figured they would be as bad as the others but, surprise, they weren’t! What made these so different? They actually had some flavor to them other than heavily sweetened marshmallow. These same Vanilla Creme and Strawberry Creme peeps are also available in egg shapes for Easter. Try 'em, you might be as surprised as I was! If not, you could torture 'em.
