Penis Puppetry and Me

Micheal jackson is WAY before my time… You’l have to explain that one to me.

Very carefully.

Oh, damn you for revealing my secret identity.

So far, I’ve only got the spitting part down pat. I’ll let you know when I get the rest.

ok… keep me posted.

All I did was READ this thread and now I must go wash my hands…

EEW EEW and triple EEW
But damn was it funny

laughed so hard I hit submit instead of preview… bollocks…

HA! ROFLMAO

Oh, and magic8ball, if the Michael Jackson reference is beyond you, perhaps you are too young to be reading a thread of this nature

Or perhaps it just make me too bloody old!!

On an aside, this ‘cultural awareness’ theatrical event was done in Nottingham a while back and it gave the audience quite a rise… The review is down near the bottom.

I want to see EXACTLY HOW THEY DO IT. It just doesn’t seem possible. I mean, are they GIGANTIC? Does all that manipulation make it longer and more flexible? I’ve just gotta see it.

Uh huh. Sure you didn’t.

This I gotta hear. I’ll get ya started.

PapaFenris: < bangs on bathroom door > Whaddaya doin’ in dere?

Fenris: Jerking off, Paw. Ya know, beatin’ the meat, polishin’ the porpoise, spankin’ the bishop . . .

If it made them GIGANTIC don’t you think we would have heard more about it by now?

Hey Fenris, I’m pretty sure your name is just a name and doesn’t mean anything (if it does, please fill me in). Anyway, in the mission “Invincible Fleet” in Ace Combat 4 on PS2, one of the enemy ships you blow up is named the Fenris. Just thought you might like to know.

Hmmmm. I believe that “Hottentot” is another. Any more?

Oh, and Elwood, Fenris was a giant wolf in Norse Mytholgy (take a look at Fenris location) who was fathered by Loki (OK, I didn’t remember the part about Loki without looking it up).

Also, If I remember correctly, it was the name of the wolf who served the White Witch in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe (Fenris Ulf, to be specific), although obviously Lewis took the name from mythology.
Just remember: Fenris = Big Ass Wolf (around here, Fenris = … well, I’ll leave that as an exercise for the reader ;))

For those who want to check out some dick tricks (but don’t want to go to the show or can’t get to it), I recommend you find a copy of Tackle Happy. It’s all about the guys from Puppetry of Penis (Simon Morely and David Friend) on their first tour of Australia… It’s pretty funny!

Why? Wasn’t that the way it happened in the Beer household?

Linus: Hottentot may have been used in Bloom County, but I wasn’t thinking of it when I used it. (As opposed to “Sex gargoyle” where I was)

Elwood: Linus touched on the mythological roots of the name “Fenris”. However, I started using it back in my BBS days 'cause A) I was into Norse mythology at the time (Roy Thomas had a great run on Thor at the time and was delving into the actual mythology) and B) most of the more common Norse dieties names were taken (Thor, Loki, Baldur, Heimdall, etc) on the BBS’s that I was on C) it sounded “tough” to me at the time. Go figgure the mind of a 15 year old.

Fenris

Ah. I was thinking of a couple of strips in particular. In a couple of early Starchair Enterpoop bits, Opus would insist that they attack the Hottentots (I believe they settled on the Wild Sorority Women of Planet Playtex). Also, there was a line about the Hottentots running amok in the music business. Come on, Fenris, you just got credit for a 2 for 1 Bloom County reference (of which, there are not nearly enough these days). Just go with it!

Dat post wuz a true classic, Fenris. Youse done good!

Geezer

Well, not while doing “The Hamburger”!!

BTW I have the video for this show, and it is hilarious!
