What is “Play-Doh Plus”? Yes, I Googled it, and found a lot of folks trying to sell it to me, but no word of why the “Plus”.

You suck at google, apparently, as I found an answer in seconds. Via wiki, “In 2013, “Play-Doh Plus” was created. It is lighter, more pliable, and softer than regular Play-Doh.”

Going by that description, it sounds like it might be more like homemade play doh than regular play doh brand play doh.

Interesting: Facing the task of designing an “extruder,” both Darwin and Hasbro hit upon similar solutions.

Pretty much what I was thinking. Apart from the human knee joint, nature generally gives us the best formed tool for a given task.

I do think they could have done without the beading around the extrusion tip, though.

I don’t know if that was really the intent; if you look at it as a whole with the plunger inserted, it looks a LOT more like a syringe than a dong.

Agreed. It looks at much like this actual decorating tool as an orange toy hammer looks like a real one. I know it doesn’t have the screw-on tips, but that’d be more pieces and might not really be that useful in regards to play-doh.

To be fair, those look like they’d be total shit for decorating a pretend cake. You’d have to extrude your decoration, pick it up and manually apply it to the cake, smashing it up in the process.
