Well, I don’t have a tipped uterus, but doggie style can hurt like hell for me.
My cervix is very sensitive, and as cartooniverse has said, it’s like being kicked in the balls. Or pissing on an electrical wire.
Tip:
if you "squat " over her while in doggie style, the penis will rub the upper wal of the vagina instead of bumping into the cervix, and as an extra, you might even find her G-spot.
Hey, that’s not nice, this is something men AND women are interested in.
I’m wondering why a tap on the cervix is so painful. Is it the cervix which is hurting, or is it possible that the uterus is stiff enough to transfer the shock to other, more sesitive organs like the ovaries mentioned earlier?
I personally volunteer to test this tip out later on tonite, for the purposes of furthering the educational value of this thread of course. Sigh, the things I’ll do for the SDMB…
I’d think the length, diameter, and curvature of the penis are big variables in this matter. I know, with gay men, if the “top” has a curved penis (upward, downward, or sideways), switching to doggie-style can be an entirely different experience - sometimes better, sometimes worse. Plus, we have the added bonus of a prostate.
You should have stuck with your first instinct, sympatha.
You too are incorrect, elfje. Or do you have a cite saying the ovaries cannot be felt thru the vagina? Warning: I’ve got hundreds that say it can.
The ovaries are easily reachable by the penis. Not by direct contact, but then neither are the testicles reachable by direct contact, yet it hurts if a man is kicked there.
The ovary is easily palpable in many, if not most women during a bimanual exam, with one hand on the abdomen and one in the vagina. I’ve done it thousands of times.
Its just as easy for the penis to bump up against the ovary, which is often low in the pelvis, and frequently resting against the outside of the upper vaginal wall.
Just make sure you ignore all the standard pelvic anatomy pictures showing the uterus with the fallopian tubes and ovaries raised about it like it’s signalling a touchdown. That is not the anatomic reality for those organs, all packed into a very close space.

The cervical opening and cervix itself is highly bundled with nerve endings, as cartooniverse already said. It is deffo the cervix, not the uterus. If it were the overies, the pain wouldn’t be where it is, but a bit higher up to the left and right. It isn’t. It’s exactly where bumped, and it feels like an electric shock, seriously.
The uterus contracting feels more like a cramp, so that’s not it, either.
My g//f has told me that doggie style is painful for her at different times.
The reason for this is because the head of the penis is hitting/rubbing the cervix when penertrating, so much so that I can feel the cervix rubbing/hitting againt the head of my penis when it is happening too (it’s not the best feeling for me at the time either). The strange thing is that this doesn’t happen every time in that position, but it’s only that position that will cause pain.
A simple change of positions and everything is fine
