People who hate children

You have written so very much in this thread. Sometimes there have been up to 5 replies from you, all answering some niggling little point of reply but without making any new point.

Can I attempt to sum up your points?

a) Children are annoying, have no manners and should never be allowed into public until they have been whipped into shape.

b) When I was a child, children were very perfectly behaved, how dare things be different now!

c) I am a tax payer and part of my tax goes toward educating children. I think todays education is shit therefore I shouldn’t have to help pay for it (children should be educated in caves by wolves?).

d) There are more then enough people in the world to make all the stuff I need. People having children are just wrong because I have no need for the stuff their children will make.

e) Children make too much noise and produce far too much waste and you don’t have to have a license for them. One dog requires a license, 12 children in one house are FREE from liscensing and are just produced to annoy the neighbours.

f) I have a disabilty, this shows the inherent unfairness of the world. If I am suffering! No snot-nosed brat should get a free run.

g) Please ignore any tax payer funds that may be spent on my disability.

h) Your number one point seems to be. I DECIDED NEVER TO HAVE CHILDREN. IF ONE CENT OF MY TAX GOES TOWARDS CHILDREN IN ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM (which it will…the price of being in a democracy) I WILL FEEL FREE TO NOT ONLY EXPRESS UMBRAGE BUT ALSO BECOME A BITTER OLD TROUT ABOUT THAT FACT!

I am so sorry if I got any of your points wrong BUT GIVE IT UP! You sound more selfish and anti-social with every post.

I don’t really like children, for the most part.

Well you are just about 30 pages late with that pearl of wisdom.

Are you so stupid that you STILL don’t realize that you are setting a standard for others that you’re unwilling to meet yourself? Are you really that brain-dead?

Sure I want more out of life. The difference between you and me is that I work for it, and I’m not trying to scam the system. You don’t qualify (sedentary status is a prerequisite for most people. You really need to use your computer for more productive purposes. Showcasing your ignorance in a message board won’t get you a job OR welfare). The other option, which you seem to embrace wholeheartedly for the rest of the population, is to accept your lot in life and quit crying like a little child because da mean old government won’t give you an undeserved handout. Or you can act like an adult with a clue and admit that the system really does work, that we really DO embrace socialist ideals in certain aspects of our society, and that it is necessary to keep the wheels turning.

But you still don’t qualify for SSDI. And that makes you a whiney slacker. Put up or shut up. Get a job.

WOW! I missed this quote!

Children don’t give back to society??? What kind of rock hit you in the head?

EVERY SINGLE PERSON giving back to society was a child and probably a more pleasant child than you are as an adult!

If you have already proved your worth, then why do you have a problem with anyone else following your wonderful exmple?

Were you an exceptional child? Can we get references?

This is an excellent post!

She will respond to it, point for point, twisting each statement, turning it around, changing the meaning, telling the same statement in a different way saying its different … There will be no end to it.

I’m fully aware of what it means. It means we socialize some things so our children turn out better than you did.

You’re a bigger slacker than I’d imagined. Your opinion is irrelevant.

Just keep blaming everyone else for your problems. We’re hanging on your every word.

Yeah, maybe. But that doesn’t mean you qualify for your welfare check.

Typical response from someone who hasn’t got a clue.

Oh, the Irrelevant Poster is back. I’m so glad.

Eat me.

I guess you don’t pay taxes either. You and Curlcoat under the bridge bitching because the whole fucking world owes you something. Your mother must be so proud.

So don’t participate. It’s just that easy. All your bitching and moaning and whining about how you only want to pay for EXACTLY what you use and no more is just so tiresome. Go off the grid. You won’t be missed. You’ll neither pay for nor receive anything but what you yourself can consume.

How appropriate!

That pig ain’t singing any more pretty now than when you first started trying to teach it, guys.

Anyone want to lay the over/under on whether this thing gets to 35 pages?

I completely understand why you are angry at the “pod person” (it ripened off a branch fully formed…no taxes were hurt in it’s making) butKalhoun you are better than this!

Arguing with idiots only makes the idiots feel good!

I know. But sometimes it’s useful to stoop to their level momentarily so we can appreciate the real world. Taxes, kids, social responsibility and all.

I agree but this particular idiot is oblivious to the world. I actually feel sorry for someomeone that disconnected to the rest of us.

No, parents don’t demand these things; business owners specifically cater to parents by providing these things because they want the parents’ money.

It’s economics, stupid. Sucks for you that a lot of businesses want custom from parents more than they want it from you.

But that is not even true (well at least in New Zealand and I doubt it’s that different in th US). Parks ARE demanded by people and provided by taxes but why should they not be?

Who wants to live in a city without green spaces? I know our “parks” are not all child friendly places or even places for anyone who wants to have a moment away from traffic. Who wants to live in a country without National parks?

I’m a rather sporadic user of city parks but I’m glad my taxes pay for a National Parks high in the mountains (that I will never go to) so those who love it can go tramping around the bush. I pay for their wilderness, they pay for my child to go to school.

We pay for public art, museums, public transport, law enforcement etc etc

Unless someone invents the “tick the box for what taxes you would like to pay for” system, we all help to pay for others, just the way it should be.

The child haters seem to think that the parks are allocated for “child only” use. I suppose that misconception goes hand in hand with being clueless and anti-social.

Let’s not forget that dogs have talents that children don’t have.

I mean, you never hear of cadaver children.

Most children are crap at FETCH too.
