People who make spectacles of themselves suck

Well here Target is a cheap furniture place. We still buy bikinis/togs in Feb though. It’s when they are most useful

People planning on going south for a vacation? It seems like half my office is going to Florida, Mexico, or Cuba next week.

Haven’t been around many sixteen-year-olds lately, have you?

Some of the things I’ve seen my niece’s friends do in public scares the shit out of me. I haven’t seen her do them, but that may just be because she’s with her aunt and embarrassed to do them in front of me. I hope to God she doesn’t do those things even when I’m not around.

It’s one of the reasons I get so annoyed with the teens around here in public - it’s like every movement has to be noticed by EVERYONE.

E.

Maybe for spring break? Some schools have spring break the second week of March.

I also bought a swimsuit a couple weeks ago (in January) because it was on sale. For me at least, I have to get things I like while I see them, because then they’ll be gone and I’ll never have another opportunity.

Man, here in Michigan, it seems like the time to buy swimsuits are Feb - late May/early June. Makes no sense. I remember wanting to get a swimsuit in mid July, and no one had any, except a few on clearance. WTF?

I just bought my daughter a swimsuit at Target a few days ago. We start going to the beach in March, but of course, we’re in FL. IMO, Target has the best selection of bathing suits in the late winter/early spring, especially since they tend to sell the tops and bottoms separately. If you wait until you actually need a suit, you’ll find a few size 20 tops and maybe some size 6 bottoms. That’s just not a good look for anyone.

I am not sure it would have ruined my shopping experience had I been there. :stuck_out_tongue:

I was once told that the stores (even Wal-mart) stock their spring items in the winter, like the fashion world. You see Fall fashions in the Spring and Spring in the Winter. (That event apparetnly happened February 7, 2005.) I found this out because I was trying to buy offwhite/ivory stockings to wear to a formal event in the late Fall, and could find none. This is when the saleslady explained it, saying she thought it was stupid.

Actually, on a clear night in the northern hemisphere if you are limber and lean waay back you can sometimes see uranus.

(sorry)

And people who suck tend to make spectacles of themselves.

Actually, the best response is to put on your sunglasses and raise your hands palms outward, saying, “You wouldn’t discriminate against the blind, would you?”

Where were you guys with these comebacks when I was in the store?

And speaking as some who works with a decent number of the 16-18 age bracket, I have to say she was much more shrill and bitchy than your average 16-18 year old.

Probably when the weird boyfriend/brother was staring at her it was creeping her out.

Sounds like a normal teenager acting out to me, sorry.
