The telephone company! In all it’s forms, mutations, reorganization, aliases, and permutations. Can you imagine that those arrogant sons of whores have done? They have taken the perfectly good and familiar area code that I have lived with since the beginning of direct long distance dialing and they have changed it. Do they have any appreciation how hard it is for a guy who is teetering on the edge of geezer hood to forget and re-memorize God alone knows how many phone numbers? I don’t just want to shoot them. I want to take that crank up gadget of my childhood, attach it to their privates… Then I want to shoot them, if I can ever figure out who “them” might be.
