I thought it was a play on Bilbo Baggins too…JUST Bilbo, NOT the other one…I have never seen “Bored of the Rings.”
And I’m still confuzzled…is it what I thought, Bill Do or the other one?
The other one. I think Billdo was just trying to be nice to me. Unlike some of my OTHER friends who shall not remain nameless, Dave. 
For the record, it is pronounced “Bill-Doe”, not “Bill Doo”. Yes, it rhymes with the sexual aid.
It’s a silly nickname that my college fraternity brothers used to call me sometimes. I needed a screen name and didn’t think much about it when I signed up on these boards those many years ago.
Every once in a while I think of changing it, most likely to “Pajama Bill”, a nickname I got on a Grand Canyon raft trip. However, I always conclude that it’s best to leave things as they are.

All these dead folks, just whining and complaining about the heat and how they’re really NOT that bad and how Cerberus is weird-looking and they just don’t like having their flesh torn from their limbs and on and on and on…I just don’t have the time to worry about people’s screen names! Especially people like Billdo, who isn’t scheduled to be here for another 67 years, you know?
