I apologize if this topic has been discussed before. However, I did do a search and came up with nada. Anyway, this site, www.perverted-justice.com, has been receiving a fair amount of press lately; and I am curious if Dopers feel that it hurts or helps their purported cause. Apparently, these folks engage adult males in chat rooms seeking sexual contact with minors, and then expose them to family, friends, employers, etc., as needed. If nothing else, the site makes for fascinating reading, but sometimes the pathology seems to be equally divided between the “wannabe pedophiles” and the volunteer vigilantes (see the the“Feedback Forum”)
