Pet pictures!

And all very much right there!

And here we have three cats from my past: Schooner the dark tabby, Squash the blaze-faced light orange boy, and Teddy, the darker orange boy.

Monkey sleeping like a damn bat:

Those aren’t dust motes or filter sparkles or whatever.
He has random white hairs speckled all over him. In the right light, he looks like a starry sky.

The lighting reflected off his whiskers, but I assure you, they are as black as the rest of him:

Photographic evidence, please?

@EddyTeddyFreddy good-lookin’ crew.

He likes to hang out in my shop with me.

Iggy, the only dog we have now…

Huh. My house panther has sprinkles of white hairs in his black coat, though not that much. He does, however, have white whiskers.

New dumped dog I picked up, Valentine.
Valentine

StG

That is one handsome devil.

Let me guess what day you found him on.

Also, whenever I see there are more posts in this thread I hurry to look.

Oskar loves to pick up socks from the laundry and give them to me.

He has some impressive stockings of his own.

We don’t allow our cats on the kitchen counter, honest. But last night Louise decided to break the rule, her argument being that the new quartzite goes so well with her fur.

She’s not wrong.

She looks maaahvalous! Those golden orbs are something else and I think she knows it.

Proving that Red Dwarf gets cats, I submit that Louise, while a slightly more evolved sentient than Cat, knows how to cat with confidence!

“The” rule about being on the counter top? I think she broke your rule, but that’s not her concern!
Wonderful picture , and a good illustration of ‘insouciant‘.

“Camouflage Cat thinks she’s invisible”

“Yes, I’m lying on your kitchen counter. Wanna make something of it?”

Pretty sure Louise has back up from ETFs overlords based on the picture above

“Oh there is gong to be a something ?”

( fairly sure the darker cat is happy about impending issues”)

Oh yeah. The darker cat is clearly rooting for something scandalous to occur. Orange tabby is more, “eh, do I really have to pay attention to this? I am … displeased.”

Oskar reminds me of a Scottish Terrier my parents had when I was a kid … if said terrier had had long legs. That dog was independent as hell! She obeyed only if it was what she wanted to do anyway. How about Oskar?
