What does Ollie think of Boots?
Good question! Ollie isn’t allowed outside. My parents will have the slider open with the screen closed, and the two cats will spend time looking at each other through the screen, even trying to boop noses. I did try to get a picture, but every time they would see me coming and disperse.
So that’s a good sign that they would get along. Or, maybe without the screen between them, they wouldn’t be so nice to each other. Who knows!
Boots has spoken! Let the humans obey!
I am being a very good puppy. I am sitting quietly while Mom’s eating. I even put my toy down.

How could anyone be so cruel as to deny a treat to that wee face?
Hey, Dad. Do I smell a Korean cauliflower bowl? What if you “dropped” some?
No need to fake an accident, it turns out.
Did an elbow perchance get jogged by a bit of ill-timed enthusiastic affection?
Nope! My natural skill and grace made me flip my fork out of the bowl, so she got a little treat of roasted cauliflower, black beans, grilled onions, and rice.
That is one of the many virtues dogs have, they’re great little Roombas to clean up food spills. 
The easiest command I teach all my dogs is, “Hoover up!” whenever I spill something on the kitchen floor. Even the adorable dolt I have now learned that one quick. 
Food is always an effective dog training tool.

Oskar was bit by another dog and is quite dejected by the Cone of Shame.
His snout is so long he figured out a way to get at his stitches. It’s the largest cone they had, so he gets the Donut of Shame too.
Oh, poor thing. How’s the other dog look?
Oskar is a lover, not a fighter.
Actually, it seems like an accident. He was at daycare playing with what we are told is his best friend, Bailey. At some point, Oskar ended up with two canine punctures in his thigh/groin. Not four, and there don’t appear to be any other bites to either dog. The daycare place told us they didn’t even know until they saw him limping.
They tell us that Oskar and Bailey are very close, but the most high-energy couple, and they sometimes have to make them take a rest.
Oh, let’s see if this works.

We stopped by Sonic after getting my car washed. A good puppy got the whipped cream.

She had done a very good job of sitting in the back seat while we vacuumed and cleaned the windows.
