Pet pictures!

That lovely round head came with pristine Siamese ‘tude and a very companionable personality, much to my unending delight. She’s a good conversationalist too, as meezers are wont to be. I’d tried to find a Siamese through every rescue for 500 miles around for more than a year before my sons joined forces and found her breeder in the far western Nebraska Sandhills. It’s a home cattery where the kittens are hand-raised, well socialized and the breeders are exquisitely careful about bloodlines and suitability. The mother cats are retired into forever homes after a few carefully spaced litters and kittens aren’t delivered until after they’ve been neutered or spayed so they don’t end up in kitten mills. Kind of like how I imagine you do your organic farming.

Wow, you couldn’t have asked for a more responsible breeder! Not surprising that cattery would preserve the original apple head, which to my eyes is far more beautiful than what wins in the show rings now.

Another hard day at work! It’s a miracle anything gets done around here.
This little one was up in the engine of a vehicle in the parking lot, hollering her head off. Once we got her out, it took about six of us to make the capture! She’s a bit older than our last refugee, and full of beans. Already two people have volunteered to take her home, so another happy ending. At this rate, we ought to just set up an empty office to house all the stray critters.

Adorable, one and all! :heartbeat:

Maybe you should see if you can locate the owner of the truck. The kitty might belong to him/her.

Not this vehicle. It belongs to the IT group here, and they only use it when they need to transport equipment to other locations.
It is a puzzle, how the kitty got here. It’s not big enough to undertake a serious journey, but seems sociable and in good shape.

I would at least make sure it’s not chipped. It may have been recently adopted and got outside.

I’ll suggest that. The lady who sits by me is the one who’s taking it home, so I’ll at least get updates. :slightly_smiling_face:

I got a cat like that. I named him Road Warrior

My best dog, and one of the un-named pets.

My late Morgan. Commander, buddy-grooming his pal Counterpoint. The two had just spent half an hour or so amusing themselves face-fighting, because geldings.

Very sweet face, and wicked-looking claws!

The vet said it’s a little girl, no chip, about six weeks old. She got some shots yesterday, and a name: Roxie.

Some of you may remember my little adventure with Bob’s biscuit. I can’t remember which thread it was in but the short version is that I thought I lost this little orange chew toy that I call Bob’s biscuit so I got him a new one, then I found the old one (on the onramp of the highway in front of my building … I don’t know how it got there either), so now he has two biscuits.

I’d like to announce that I am a genius having just invented the Two Biscuit Bone. Of course, as I’m typing this, he’s already solved getting one biscuit off the bone, but I’m standing my ground … genius, it is. Witness:

Couldn’t seem to get these to embed properly. It’s working now.

Attaboy, Bob!

Adorable! I got Daisy about a month ago. She’s a very good girl. The picture seems to be elongated.
