That lovely round head came with pristine Siamese ‘tude and a very companionable personality, much to my unending delight. She’s a good conversationalist too, as meezers are wont to be. I’d tried to find a Siamese through every rescue for 500 miles around for more than a year before my sons joined forces and found her breeder in the far western Nebraska Sandhills. It’s a home cattery where the kittens are hand-raised, well socialized and the breeders are exquisitely careful about bloodlines and suitability. The mother cats are retired into forever homes after a few carefully spaced litters and kittens aren’t delivered until after they’ve been neutered or spayed so they don’t end up in kitten mills. Kind of like how I imagine you do your organic farming.
Wow, you couldn’t have asked for a more responsible breeder! Not surprising that cattery would preserve the original apple head, which to my eyes is far more beautiful than what wins in the show rings now.
