Pet pictures!

Poohbah is fabulous! I sure hope George grows up to look half as wonderful.

I wanted an adult coon, but had no success in my search so bought a Kovid Kitten. I’m sure that some day I’ll have the adult Maine Coon I wanted, but now I have a 6 month old, 10 1/2 lb goofball who can easily jump from the floor to the top of the fridge without scrabbling his feets against the door.

A regal bearing, as befits the King of the Beasts.

Reminds me of our Maine coon, Carmine (same coloring and forbidding expression disguising an outgoing personality).

A Kovid Kitten? A kitten bought during the Kovid-19 pandemic? Or, perhaps a Korat? If Korat, you are in for lot’s of fun. They are quite intelligent, affectionate and playful. Our’s keeps us on our toes and provides constant entertainment. Sleek, beautiful coat and coloration, too.

George is already wonderful! Prepare to enjoy him as he expands into a full-scale Maine Coon!

I call him my Kovid Kitten because I bought a Maine Coon kitten when hubs got COVID19. His name is George and he’s a typical 6 month old kitten, except for the part that he’s twice as big as a typical kitten his age so is able to reach and jump higher in his quest of new and different trouble!

As you can see, I disturbed his valuable rest and he is displeased. Good thing he’s too sleepy to do anything about it!

George is a pain in the ass kitten. I knew I didn’t want a kitten, but needs must. He’s going to grow up to be fabulous but right now he’s a PITA. It’s a good thing he’s so cute and cuddly when he wants to be!

Milo has turned into quite a fluffy love bug.

@JaneDoe42, how long is George currently? I’m wondering if he’s now bigger than the Princess (an adult Siamese mix). She’s about 21" nose to base of tail, with about 10" of tail.

Milo is seriously, almost excessively, cute.

I’ll measure him next time I catch him stretched out on a bed. He totally fills a 45" windowsill, but a lot of him is tail so it’s hard to say.

How did Milo sneak in when I wasn’t looking? What a cutie patootie! I’ll bet he doesn’t get on the kitchen counters, the lil sweetie pie!!!

My lap currently.

Don’t tell her I’m drooling over other cats and, gasp! dogs.

Allie (the Princess) is never happy when she smells other animals on me. At least your cat won’t have that problem with your digital disloyalty.

I can’t keep the sucker off the dining table though he always gets down when I tell him to. I’m a little concerned that he still doesn’t recognize his name yet. Possibly not the sharpest knife in the drawer but definitely the sweetest. He loves to cuddle and will just gaze up at me while in my lap. It just slays me!

I’m not at all sure that most cats think names matter. They clearly recognize when I’m talking to them; but I don’t know that they think this has anything to do with whether I’m using their names.

Of course, it might just be that often we get the names wrong.

WARNING! The following photos contain critical amounts of cuteness.

Okay, you were warned. Here are some puppy pictures of Merry:

She was clearly up to something in this one:

You were right to warn us. Merry is seriously cute.

Gorgeous pup, many scritches.

And all the others , of course.

Vash seems to recognize his name when I get his attention (usually to stop him from passive-aggressively trolling our middle-aged fussbudget Dorothy by getting into her space).
