That’s Cole–he’s a teenager and a bit of a brat. It’s a good thing Lucas is kind of round because he gets rolled over a lot. But he’s usually the instigator of play.

My tiny kittens are six weeks old! How did that happen? It’s been a roller coaster of a few weeks- Bobby has been adopted, my own little dog had a terrible health scare and I almost lost him, and I’m taking a break from new dogs for the time being. Once the kittens and Europa are adopted, I’ll re-evaluate. And of course, all that may change- you never know what will walk into the shelter tomorrow.

In order to be ready for adoption, they must be at least 8 weeks old, at least 2 lb, healthy, and have two sets of shots. They’ve already had one round of shots and they range from 19 to 23 oz right now, so we’re on track. Everyone is using the litterboxes, eating solid food, and they’re all VERY active and VERY sweet and loving. They’re so much fun!

My two pups. The one on the left is a Rottie mix. We had previously thought Dad was the neighbor’s Great Dane, but a DNA test nixed that. Dad turned out to be an American Pitbull Terrier.
The one on the right is a lab mix. We adopted her two months ago. Both pups are four years old.
They look delightful!
They both look like Very Good Dogs who deserve all the hugs, toys, and treats they want.

Buddy really isn’t as helpful as he seems to think he is.
