Just wait until next year, when both the third Matrix film and the third LOTR film will be playing around the same time. I, too, wish they’d spread out these big budget hits a bit. But I’m going to try to see TTT this Saturday.

We took the day off like sensible geeks everywhere. Watched 3 1/2 hours of extended DVD and took our pre-bought tickets to a 1:30pm show - which was sold out days ago but the theatre was only half full. Very nice, since I can’t stand crowds and was a little frightened of the whole geek thing.

So let me get this straight. New Line is kind enough to contain a ticket for Two Towers with Fellowship of the Rings, (I assume that’s where your free ticket came from, as you mentioned the extended version in the OP, and I assume you’re referring to FOTR) and you’re annoyed because this FREE movie doesn’t fit into YOUR schedual? Basically, you’re pissed off because the world doesn’t revolve around you. And I really don’t see how it’s New Line’s fault that your local movie theater’s schedual also doesn’t fit the window of opportunity you’re looking for. Sorry. I could try and muster up some sympathy, it seems that I just don’t care enough.

I’m quite happy with New Line. My friend’s roomie is related to some big muckie-muck, and he has “literally a stack” of free tickets. Woohoo!

Yeah, he needs to learn the world revolves around ME!!!
