Philly Dopefest on April 19th

You are correct, madam.

You must come next time, and I won’t take no for an answer!

If you command it, I must comply, your highness. Please bring royal prince Liam and James out to visit the country estate soon.

Yes, thanks much for putting this together, twicks! Most enjoyable – sorry I couldn’t make the tour part – sounds like it was a good time…

How’s next Sunday grab ya?

Thanks, twickster! Good tour, good company and good food.

I have my pictures now (I have to go through a ridiculously complicated procedure to download them). I have eight of the dopers present plus four I took of various sights. Anyone who’d like them, send me an email or pm me. And if you have a convenient way to post them online, feel free to do so.

You don’t have a Photobucket account? Once the pix are loaded to your computer, they’re easy to upload to that and then you can link directly there.

If, even now knowing how convenient that is, you don’t want a Photobucket acct., email them to me and I’ll upload them to mine.

I have emailed you the pictures for posting. My thanks once again.

The album is here – all pictures but three from Sunday. (The three yellowish ones with ambient light are from a Dopefest last fall.)

See, you can tell me how easy Photobucket is to use but I can’t even figure out how to view the pictures you uploaded so I’m pretty sure setting up my own account and uploading the pictures would have been far beyond me.

Heh. I think you may need to be registered to view pictures – look for a registration page.

Anyway, I just uploaded the other six pictures, so they’re all up now.

Thanks for sharing the pics, y’all. I think we only took (or rather, twicks did) the one; I’ll have to scrounge up the camera and see if Bill managed any more. Probably not, since he had his hands full with a toddler most of the day.

BTW, since I neglected to mention it before (I blame my sister for distracting me :D), I had a great time. Thanks to twicks for organizing and leading the tour, I’m really bummed that the OP ended up not being able to make it–of all the lousy luck!–and enjoyed meeting all those I hadn’t met before and seeing the rest. We’ll have to have another do soon!

Hey, anybody interested in paintball? I’m feeling too lazy to start a new thread, so might as well hijack this one. There’s a place in Jim Thorpe (Albrightsville, really, for the picky): http://www.skirmish.com They’re having a Ladies’ Day on May 30–free admission for the chicks! I haven’t been, but it sounds like fun.
