Congrats, moi. I just wish I would have a chance to see you before you leave. When do you leave? Maybe we can go out for a night of carousing after I get back from my trip.
Well, I just got back from Eulogy thanks to Steve’s gratefulness for my setting up his new powerbook. Let me say that I very highly recommend it. Among the high points would be excellent food and 15 different kinds of European beer on tap, one of which and my favorite of the evening being the “Arrogant Bastard Ale”. They also have Guiness by the can and a very close equivalent as on of the beers on tap (I didn’t try it but the Irish guy behind the bar said it was very close.
Are there any takers?

It’s still a week away, but I’ll work on it. What is the address-a tad more exact than Chestnut near 2nd works for those of us who have to lodge a large weevil, albeit temporarily.
The exact address is 136 Chestnut St.
There are a number of lots nearby, the best for your truck would likely be on 3rd St. between Chestnut and Walnut, IIRC.

I just found out I might not be able to attend but even if that’s the case I’ll do m best to try and make arrangements.

Make that 6. I didn’t want to assume moi and tdc would be in attendance but since its her send off they’d better be there.
I’ll make a reservation for 10 and whoever wants to come can come. I doubt we’ll end up wih more than that.
Does anyone know if Verrain is out in Montana along with TP or will he be in attendance as well?
I placed a reservation for 10 at 6:30. They said if we need to push it back I can call and have that done. It’ll be under Cecil Adams if anyone is a latecomer.

PS-Does anyone know what the little black circle on this threads’ icon meant? I’m assumingit might have something to do with how much touble it was to access this thread.
(I think the dots indicate threads you’ve accessed before – maybe they were changing iconography during that hellish day and a half when you couldn’t get in to even read half the threads, and post after post got eaten?)
Thanks Twickster. I actually got my answer shortly after posting when I read the SDMB group on LJ. Apparantly there was a software upgrade that caused all of those problems for us and yes, the little black dot was an indicator of read threads.
Sorry to dissapoint, but I don’t think the missus and I are gonna make it this time out. We’ll be driving back from Baltimore sometime Friday afternoon/evening and I don’t think we’ll be back in time for the festivities. 
Also, it’s looking like I may be MIA for this summer’s Dope dinners as I may be joining moi in Baltimore. Yup, that’s right, I quit my crummy job. I’m sure we’ll make it up for a couple, though, they’re too much fun to miss.
