It occurs to me I haven’t been in that hotel in 10 years, so I have zero idea for a good meeting place. anyrose – any suggestions?
Nuts. This is my hinterlands week. Last week and next week both have me in Philly, but not this one. sigh Enjoy and party hearty, kids.
Best place to meet would be the main lobby area. around 6:30-7:00? you tell me what time. If they haven’t redecorated too much there are some comfy chairs opposite the front door, right outside the restaurant. Also to the left of the main entrance is a bar. So either place would be good. You tell me.
Okay – confirmed guest list: twickster, anyrose, ryobserver, and anyrose pal. I believe Ms Robyn is coming (so she just claimed via IM); plus cleophus and/or Doc Cathode?
We can meet outside the restaurant, (The Terrace) esp. if it’s right off the lobby and thus easy to find. I’ve met most of the Philly denizens, but for those who I haven’t met: I’m female, tallish, plumpish, middle-aged, with shoulder-length, dark-brown hair. I’ll probably be wearing a purple jacket over jeans and a sweater.

What time are we meeting?
I’ll be there about quarter of 7, maybe a little earlier.
I’ll be the somewhat dishevelled man, with long hair, glasses, goatee, and a motley top hat and tail coat.
I’ll be the short woman with dark-reddish shoulder-length hair and gold-rimmed glasses. I’ll be wearing clothes. Which ones, remains to be seen.

It’s supposed to be warm tomorrow, so I probably won’t be wearing the purple jacket. I will, however, still be tall, plump, and middle-aged.
AFAIK, the babysitter’s lined up and so Airman and I are coming.
