Pick your SDMB Member for POTUS!

Because lobstermobster demanded it!

Here nominate your candidates for President of the United States of America from SDMB members. I guess we’ll do a nominating round first, unless people want to go straight to an open STV or something… Nah, just nominees right now:

I nominate lobstermobster, since it was his idea, & BrainGlutton as our resident political-system junkie.

FWIW, lobstermobster ain’t a him.

Ah, I should have been tipped off by the use of the Old English feminine agent suffix “-ster.”

Not even one little bit.

just let me know when the debates are

I nominate WhyNot. Because it’s time the occupant of the White House had some liberrtarian opinions on marriage arrangements.

Also, her campaign slogan is obvoius.

I nominate Hippy Hollow.

I nominate OpalCat. Politics is sometimes said to be a juggling act, so let’s send in a juggler!

I also nominate Blaster Master as GM of the Mafia game I was in. (Feel free to nominate the other Mafia GMs.)

Moved from IMHO to MPSIMS.

I would hereby like to officially confirm that I am assembling a blue ribbon panel to evaluate the feasibility of forming an exploratory committee to assess the possibility of myself pursuing an as yet undecided upper position in the United States Government.

I will open the floor to questions at this time.

I nominate silenus, even though he’s in California.
School teacher, Hawaiian shirts, shiny head… It’s time for a change.

I’ve got a question – WTF are you talking about? :stuck_out_tongue:

Liberal or maybe John Mace.

I nominate myself. Coins will be changed to say, “In Vecna We Trust,” pie will be brought, and Sunday will be renamed D&D Day. Other RPGs may be allowed if I feel like it.

I opened a floor once.
Termites, smelled like cabbage. Small hands.

Under a Lobster administration, there would be a task force for the sole purpose of giving wedgies to D&D nerds. And Tuesday would be renamed Boozeday. However, this is not the time for such things. I will wait until debates.

Reminds me of…

ETA: I hope this doesn’t break the copyright rules of the board, last time I posted more than a stanza I got the mod smack down

I’d vote for John Mace. We agree on damn near everything. It’d be like me being president, except without the stress.

My advisers have counseled me not comment on this startlingly accurate descriprion of the esteemed members in our fourth estate.

**WhyNot **gets another vote from me.
