Pickles on a burger - a poll.

In another thread someone jokingly suggested that he might sue McDonald’s when there are no pickles on his burger. I detest pickles on my burger and have often wondered why they still put them on.

Dopers pickles or no pickles?

I love pickles, but not on a burger.

Hell yeah. Don’t want yours? I’ll have them, thanks. The more the merrier.

Anyone else think the more serrated the cut, the better?

There absolutely must be pickles on a burger!

I prefer a pickle on the side. Usually, when you order pickles on a burger, you get 4 stacked on top of each other, consumed in one bite. On the side, I can regulate my pickle intake, and adjust accordingly.

God I hate pickles. I’d get my burger without pickles if it didn’t take forever and baffle everyone behind the counter. So I pick them off and throw them away. Which of course, doesn’t work, because one of the nasty things about pickles is that they make all food within a five mile radius of them taste like pickles. Why have a burger with pickles? Just eat a big pickle - it’s the same effect.

I don’t want a Pickle
I just want to ride on my Motor-Sickle

I detest pickles.

A kosher dill gherkin should be sliced lengthwise into four segments and balanced carefully in a row on the raw onion on top of the patty, ensuring that pickle is ingested in every bite of the sandwich.

I hate pickles in all there evil forms. they are one of the most vile foods to ever exist, after saurkraut of course.

Get them off my burger, thanksverymuch…

No, sir, I don’t like them.

Pickles on a hamburger are a stench in the nostrils of God.

I like 'em, but I prefer bread and butter pickles (very sweet) to dill.

I like them, but only if they are on the bun UNDER the hamburger. The lettuce and tomato go on top of the burger, and the onions and pickles go UNDER thje burger.

I agree. But my burger must have pickle, on the side or on the burger.

[Jimmy Buffett] I like mine with lettuce and tomato/Heinz 57 and french fried potato/big kosher pickle and a cold draft beer/ good God almighty, which way do I steer? [/Jimmy Buffett]

A burger without pickles?, no way!.

Yeah, definitely on the burger.

Not really a burger, but sliders must have onions and pickles - NO KETCHUP or any other condiment. Cheese is optional.

Bread & Butter. They make the baby Jesus giggle.

People who don’t like pickles on their burgers should be regarded with suspicion. :dubious:

Pickles on a burger- Yum.

May I safely assume that all of you no-pickle people are also very much against relish?
