Pics texted to cell phone - how to email

Just laid some pipe and I have pictures of it.

Real pipe actually, conduit for underground utility wires. The contractor texted me pictures of the trench with the conduit in it that I have to print and send to the electrical inspector. Ok, so I’m cell phone stupid, I can barely use the thing as a phone. It’s a Motorola Droid of some type, about 3 years old. I get regular software updates. I have the pictures in with my texts and I have no idea how to get these out of the phone and onto a computer where I can print them. Anyone have an idea? I’ve looked for an email option, can’t find any. I can’t even figure out how to text them to someone else who knows how to use their cell phone.

There’s a few options.
1)You can ‘text’ the picture to your email address.
2)You can long click the picture and save it to your SD card and then add it as an attachment in an email (on your phone).
3)You can set up a phonebucket/Flickr/Facebook account so that you can upload pictures to there and then download them on your computer.
4)You can (this is probably the hardest) attach your printer to your phone (wirelessly) through your network and print it directly.
5)You can set up a Dropbox account so you can just drop the picture from your phone into it and pull it back out on your desktop.

Pros and cons for all of them. If this is just a one off thing, just start with option one or two.

ETA, I have a Droid Bionic. Try long clicking on the picture (in the text message) and if an option for ‘share’ comes up, click that and look for the ‘email’ button. That should be all you need to do.

Thanks for the tips, I just found it by accident. Apparently you have to hold down your finger on the picture for a couple of seconds to get the ‘Share’ option up.

Mods, feel free to close this thread. Or just let the Teeming Millions mock my cell phone illiteracy.

Anyone else only make it halfway through the second sentence?
