You expect anyone to believe a Prince Albert was less painful than an earlobe!!!??
ANd, since you’re the only per I know has one, how did that affect sex?

Since I also have a PA I will respond to nogginhead with my opinion too.
I had spoke with several people who had PA’s before I got mine and I just could not really believe them that it didn’t hurt. Afterall, you are talking about a needle through MiniJoe!
Honestly, it didn’t hurt. As a matter of fact, contrary to corizo, I’d say my tongue piercing hurt more. The PA had zip, zero, no pain involved in the piercing. Now, the first piss and first hard-on were two different stories!

Ha! How did I miss the other part of the question re: sex??
TMI WARNING!!
With a woman:
For me - it was really good once it healed and I was able to increase the gauge size to above an 10g. Smaller than that and it kind of hurt, like the jewelry was slicing/pulling/pinching too much. Anyway, it provides an incredible amount of stimulation internally as the jewelry slips back and forth through the hole and urethra.
For her - Well, the few people I’ve been with since getting it done have all been quite happy with it. Some prefering certain jewelry over others for stimulation purposes. Sadly, Mrs. MeanJoe does not care for it so I always take it out before doing what married folk do.
Solo - It depends on my mood, but for the same reasons as above it can be a nice addition.

Maybe I’m just not understanding, but how exactly would your parents have seen your piercing? Are they that obviouse under clothes? Or are you more comfortable walking around in states of undress at your parents house? (no sarcasm intended, a lot of people are very comfortable like that around family)
Wife’s got’em. I don’t mind.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
Congrats on your weight loss. I’ve decided I shave off my beard if I get back down to my best weight.
There’s a picture of a third-nipple piercing (male) on the BME zine web site.
I took a look at the ‘Christina’ picture while I was there… purely in the interest of science, of course! I stand in awe of any woman who could do that to herself. Good lord. I think it would be almost as hard as hara-kiri.
Honestly, it didn’t hurt to get it done. Not at all. Maybe it was the adrenaline rush. But my earlobes did hurt more than my PA.
It did hurt the few days afterward, like my tongue did. And I have to admit that the bleeding part (it’s a very vascular area) was psychologically kind of upsetting - men seem to be hard-wired to freak out when they see blood coming out of their penis. But it only bled the first day, and was only sore for a week or so. It actually healed up very quickly, much quicker than any other piercing. I think again there is some sort of biological imperative for your body to heal that part of the body very quickly.
As for the sex, it didn’t do much. Not uncomfortable, but not really enhanced in any manner. My wife dosen’t really like it either so I now have a circular barbell with a screw-off ball to make it easy to remove for sexual purposes.
I heard a quote somewhere that says that the best part of having a penis piercing is being able to walk around and think “Hey, I’ve got my penis pierced!” which seems to be pretty accurate. It’s kind of a fun little secret to have, and I like the way it looks. That’s about the extent of it.
Was that supposed to be a pun?
I enjoy them. What more can I possibly say about it?
** Freyr**, you got pierced at the Gaunlet? I’m envious
<–green with envy
I am weird in that I don’t like nipple piercings but [BIG TMI WARNING FOR THOSE WHO DON’T LIKE PIERCING] I have a hood piercing myself, which, for the record, did not hurt getting done, but did hurt while healing. If you really want it, don’t worry about the pain threshold, because it’ll be worth it. Added sensitivity is just a bonus.
BTW, if you haven’t had any piercings, I would recommend against getting stainless steel because so many people have nickel allergy. Go with titanium if you can. And barbells would definitely reduce pressure; I’ve always thought a straight piercing just shouldn’t have curved jewelry, at least not until it heals, so it will heal straight. And DON’T WEAR EARRINGS IN BODY PIERCINGS. They’re too small of a gauge (around 20g, nipples should be around 12g I think…) and will tear straight through your skin, a process affectionately known as the “cheese-grater effect” shudder
And finally, if your wife’s not crazy about the idea, I wouldn’t go for it. I got mine when I was with a bf who loves piercings, but my current one isn’t crazy about it. Since I imagine you’ll be with your wife for a long time to come, I think her opinion would be pretty valuable. Just my $.02.
BME, as Antares mentioned, should become your best friend if you’ve never been pierced before.
Did I say “grater”? I meant “slicer”.
Although the thought of a cheese grater is far worse…
Okay, this thread has made me anxious to get pierced again, so I’ve decided I’m going to go ahead with it sometime in the next week or two. I’ve got some more questions, though.
I’ve heard from some that barbells are best for the initial healing, and from others I’ve heard that CBRs are best. Does anyone have any instances of one being better than the other?
About how much did it cost when you had it done? (I’m getting both done, FTR)
Also, I know that internally threaded jewelry is preferable, but since the healing will take some time, I don’t plan to change the jewelry out afterwards for at least a year or so. Should I still try and get internally threaded jewelry?
Lastly, (for the girls) has it been extremely noticable under your clothing? I don’t generally wear tight clothing, but my bras are not padded, just light cotton. I’m worried about it being visible. Has this been a problem for anyone?
Just wanted to also say thanks for bringing the subject up. I’ll post an update once I’ve had it done.
Happy to do my part to increase the freak quotient. Won’t they be mad when we outnumber them!
BTW, Ms. Nog was kind of stunned when I disclosed my plans… thought I was kidding, in fact. I’ll take your comments into consideration, lovelyluka. Though she reacted the same way 12 years ago, when she first saw me shirtless and saw the tattoo. And then she was OK with it pretty fast.
This is something I’ve been thinking about for the past year or so. My boyfriend has his left nipple pierced, and I just can’t stop playing with it - not that he objects, of course.
As it is my nipples are already incredibly sensitive, and the slightest touch drives me absolutely wild. If piercing is likely to turbocharge them even more, then I’m all for it! Naturally I would want to get both done, as I’ve never been the type of person to do anything by halves.
Also been considering a PA after seeing one being performed on TV. I’ve heard this often increases sensitivity too, hence why I’m tempted. Just got to make sure I don’t get too carried away and turn myself into something which resembles a colandar :D.

I agree, the image of a latex glove full-o-blood was just… not a calming moment.
XJETGIRLX asked:
I will not render judgement on which is best as I believe opinions vary pretty widely on that subject. My personal pro/con is this:
CBR: Easiest to clean and keep clean. A straight barbell makes it extremely difficult to remove crusties and ensure the soap and rinse gets inside the piercing.
Straight barbell: Much more comfortable during the healing process for women. A CBR tends to create discomfort in some women when their bra place pressure on the lower portion of a dangling CBR. In addition, a CBR is more likely to get “bumped” that may cause a momentary feeling of
I have always used CBRs on my nipples and generally have had no problems. I have known men and women who have gone with either successfully and I have known women who had problems with CBRS (comfort) and switched to barbells and were much happier. I think it’s a crap-shoot.
Go to a professional, keep 'em clean, and have fun!
Good luck,
MeanJoe
I only got three of my nipples done - that way my five wolf-cubs can still have one teat each.
One of the FAQ’s suggests that women ‘flip up’ the CBR when wearing brassieres, for comfort and to prevent the friction helping tug the jewelry downward.
