In this thread, Tattoos, Piercings & Plastic Surgery-A Poll we discussed the aesthetics of above mentioned procedures. However, no-one really expanded on the genital/tongue piercings. I’m quite curious about those and have been for several years. I understand the tongue stud is helpful during oral, but what purpose do the genital piercings serve? Also, please expand upon exactly how the tongue piercing is stimulating.

My experience on this topic is probably more limited than some but I can offer this- I have received oral from a woman (Im a man) who had a pierced tongue and to be honest I didnt really feel anything. We even tried using a larger gauge ball and still didnt feel anything. I have also dated a girl that had her hood pierced. She said it made a big difference when receiving oral. Thats all I got.
I had my hood pierced for awhile, and my tongue as well. I also dated 2 guys who had PA’s, and a few who had tongue rings.
The tongue rings never did anything in particular for me, I never found it made a difference. If they guy was good at giving oral, it didn’t make it any better, and if he wasn’t good it certainly didn’t help. I never got any complaints about my tongue ring while giving head, but I’m not sure it made it better for the guy, either.
As far as the guys w/ PA’s, I liked them aesthetically and they were fun for when giving oral sex, but I never noticed a real difference during intercourse. However, if he had a large ring in it, something it was uncomfortable for me.
The clitoral hood piercing was probably the only one that I, personally, found physically stimulating. It didn’t make sex any more “amazing” but it did at extra stimulation because of the extra friction. Almost forgot - I also had my nipples pierced and that did make them more sensitive.
I still like the way this piercings look though, so that is one benefit if you/your partner are into that kind of thing.
I really don’t have much of an opinion about piercings - I am tattooed and love my tattoos, but have no desire to have anything pierced (other than my ears, which were done years ago). If you want to, and you realize people are going to look at you if you have odd bits of metal sticking out of your face, go for it!
However, I do have one request. If you have your tongue pierced, please don’t mouth it and roll it around and stick out your tongue and play with it. That is so gross.
