Pioneer KEH-M5500 question: How to set the clock?

I’m usually pretty good with this kind of stuff, but I’ll be damned if I can get the clock set on this Pioneer deck I pulled out of the junkyard. Everything else works and I got it hooked up with no problem.

I’m too cheap to pay for a download manual, so if anyone can do me a kindness and tell me how to set the time, I would be grateful!

Of course, as a last resort, I’ll just disconnect the battery at 12 noon straight up and reprogram the stations.

Thanks!

If it’s anything like my Pioneer deck, you actually have to turn off the unit first. Then you press and hold one of the buttons, I think, and then it goes into clock setting mode.

If that’s not enough for you to get going I’ll see if I can figure it out again. I only do it twice a year.

Haven’t tried that yet. I’ll give it a shot. Thanks!

No dice. Tried all “normal” methods for car stereos. Finally just pulled the battery cable at noon.

Clock is right for now!

Here’s a bunch of free downable Pioneer car radio manual pdfs.
Closest I would find was KEH-M5550.. Settings might be similar.

Astro! You rock the Casbah! Page 10, use the #1 and 2 pre-set buttons while holding the clock button! Tested and Done!

Thanks!
