First, thank you (I think).
Second, I agree with much of what you said, though not about Marley23.
Third, I do often post in the pit in a tangential matter concerning some small point or side issue or factoid. You are correct. Most of the time, I do not get flamed thankfully.
Fourth, I try not to be part of pile-ons. If I am in a pit thread full out it is either as I am in it early before the pile-on can begin or it was a subject that is in my primary areas of interest. It is rarely, if ever for RO.
My view on some of your points:
**Guinastasia ** does tend to join in the pile-on and she does typically deliver one-liners. But I think most of the time; she is at least on point.
mhendo, **RickJay ** are good examples of posters that go into details to back up their points even in the pit. I have not noticed any that were misaimed, but even if they do, miss occasionally, I think they deserve praise.
You are 100% correct on Q.E.D. but I still like the guy. Even he knows he quite often comes across as a dick though.
Your comment on Shagnasty had me laughing. It is so true.
Omegaman seems to post on some weird cycle of coherent, to “I love you man” friendly drunk to completely incoherent at times. Overall he is an entertaining poster, but I understand what you are saying.
I have not noticed Justin Bailey & Vinyl Turnip that often.
I have never had a problem with fluiddruid and as mentioned, she is a she.
I need to add in an odd tangent. Can I just comment that **ralph124c ** is the dumbest long term poster on the entire board.
