Bogged Down - A small isolated Irish town is terrorized one Halloween night when bodies rise up out of the bogs and seek revenge on the decendents of those who sacrified them hundreds of years earlier. Will high schoolers Glen, Nicky, Fiona, and Carly be able to save their town from the dark-red haired monsters terrorizing them all? And can they get the local priest and pastor to put aside their religious differences long enough to work together?
That could be made in partnership with TBN!
Especially if you make the bog zombies dead witches/satanists.
Megashark vs. Giant Octopus vs. Super Eel vs. Collosal Ray vs. Gigantic Radioactive Seahorse. I think the name says it all.
Army Sergeant Rex Madison leads a squad charged with guarding the top secret radioactive MacGuffin when a European terrorist lets a snake loose in a plot to retrieve it. The situation worsens when the snake is irradiated, growing to a fnatastic size. Who will survive the Venom Express?
Evil aliens are invading earth and the gruff scientist and his super model assistant hold the key to their defeat. But will they survive Genereic Space Invasion Movie #13678?
You can’t go wrong with the O.P.'s username.
A Monkey With A Gun!
A dictator of an out-of-the way African republic trains gorillas and chimpanzees to wield automatic weapons in his army, serving as cannon fodder and preserving the lives of his human soldiers. The simians run amok and begin shooting the soldiers in the dictator’s army and each other and take over the Presidential compound, shooting any random human they see. It’s sort of like “Congo,” except the apes are better armed.
A world where apes evolved from Idi Amin?
Thumper: A sadistic killer with a bunny outfit and a sledgehammer holds the city in the grip of terror!
Blood Brothers: A man arrested at the scene of a grisly killing insists that he must bring his mutated brother fresh meat-or the monster will escape and kill more!
Project: Moreau A nosy (and busty) reporter sneaks onto a top-secret base, only to discover that a shadowy mercenary group is transforming their troops into half-beast killers!
The Waterman: a sentient, mutated pool of nuclear runoff goes on the rampage! Ok, the premise is weak but it means many oppertunities for shower scenes, wet t-shirts, and bikinis!
So it’s basically the first season of Alias, set in the 1700s, with clockwork robots and giant lizards?
Would you like my life savings to help complete this opus in the form of a check or a giant bag with a dollar sign on it?
I’ve always wanted to see I’m In Marsport Without Hilda on the small screen.
That would be encouraging.
But I’ll settle for some kind of way to get the right people to see my script so I could sell it.
Fluke: A mutated liver fluke that seeks to propagate it’s kind by burrowing into people and then surprisingly bursting out of them! Not at all like any other movie you might have seen with that kind of thing! Starring John Hurt.
What they usually need in my view is someone to just embrace the lunacy and go crazy. Not crazy with the visuals because they have a budget but crazy with everything else. There typically isn’t a sense of playfulness in the Scifi Channel movies that there needs to be for them to be goofy romps.
My pitch: zombie presidents. I think that writes itself.
They shouldn’t even try to make movies since they made Snakehead Terror. Nothing will live up to that.
[Pedant] Is it possible for an OP to spell the new name of the network right? It’s Syfy, with a lowercase f.[/Pedant]
I personally would just like to see one that was Scifi, and not horror/fantasy with Scifi elements. Heck, I wouldn’t mind a boring old space opera.
A musical!
Zombie Shark: A Great White, corrupted by a chemical spill, goes on a rampage!
Planet Frankenstein: A crashed prison ship discovers an abandoned medical base-and the horrific experiments being conducted there!
Ninja Seige - In modern day Vancouver, a young woman holds the key to humanity. But can a RC Mountie protect her from an ancient army of Asian assassins? Staring Casper Van Diem and Victoria Pratt
Atomic Kodiak - An Alaskan forest ranger may have bitten off more than he can chew when a giant mutant 30 foot tall Kodiak grizzly menaces a research station. Bruce Cambell and Kristy Swanson star.
Gorilla Appocalypse - They thought they were saving the world. Instead, they may have unleashed it’s distruction. Staring Lorenzo Lamas.
Minotaur vs Lamassu - It’s the Greek man-bull against the Babylonia bull-man in a non stop fight to the finish. Toro! Featuring Lou Diamond Phillips, Stephen Baldwin and Gigi Edgly.
Seconded.
ABC already did that when they adapted Peter Benchley’s White Shark as Creature. It starred Craig T Nelson and was awesomely bad and awesome.
Did the movie keep the Nazi aspect that the novel had? That’s the ultimate movie awesomeness trifecta - sharks, zombies, and Nazis.
