This is not your average family dynamic. These are people who apparently still get cash out of the ATM to shop and pay bills. They don’t press charges when they are carjacked, kidnapped and stolen from. They don’t lock their phones and they let people creep around the house and rummage around when they are asleep. There are “instructions” but no consequences. It’s a little hard to figure out how this all will work going forward but it will certainly be a different sort of arrangement.
On most things, I defer to my fiancée’s judgment. I generally joke that she controls time and space.
This has been a bit of an eye-opener. Maybe I chose the wrong word. She knows that I do not want her sister in the house ever again. Especially if I’m there. I’m cutting the sister out of my life altogether. She says she is going to do the same.
I’m vehemently opposed to ever interacting with the sister ever again. My fiancée has said that her sister is no longer welcome, as well.
