Fifth and what? What am I looking for? I want to come!!!
The addy of my school is 6425 Fifth Avenue. It’s right near the corner of Shady and Fifth. Across from the BIG YELLOW art center and Mellon Park. It’s kinda tough to miss. There’s a big orange sign outside the entrance that boldly states “TEMPORARY ELLIS SCHOOL ENTRANCE” or something like that.
EVERYONE SHOULD COME!!! I’m working crew, it’s great. Our actors are wonderful. And this way, I get to see you all, even if I have to go to the concert!
Hey I am back from the darkness. February 9th is a special day for me. Its my birthday muhahhahahah, but please do make sure you forget by then. Anyway I am looking forward to meeting you all. Where is it going to be?
Mad Mex is a cool place. Its on Atwood St. in Oakland.
There are a lot of good places in the Strip, good seafood if you like that kind of stuff. I for got the resturant name but its pretty easy to spot. Its on Penn avenue, but parking will be difficult. Anybody needs a ride from [anywhere] to [anywhere] on that day I am available after 5:30 pm.

OK, I’ll be nice and summarize.
Current plans are for Friday the 9th at Gullifty’s, starting at roughly 7 p.m.
If you happen to be closer to Guin (North Hills, in Allison Park) than I will be (with Le Sang and Medea’s Child at University of Pittsburgh), it would save me many miles if you could pick her up.
Alrighty, I guess that we’re down to the nitty-gritty little details here, since it’s finally gonna happen (yay!)
If anybody needs directions to Gullifty’s, I can most likely provide, considering that you know at least where 5th Ave or, better yet, Forbes is. E-mail me if ya need em, cause I sure as hell got em.
Once people get to the restaurant, we do, unfortunately, have the problem of meeting and recognizing each other. I may bring Eric the 4 ft. stuffed catfish, since he’s become practically as much of a doper as me, so that’ll probably be hard to miss. Unfortunately, I may be kicked out of the restaurant for walking around with a stuffed catfish, and I also may not be the first one there. So, shall we have a sign of some sort, or find some other way of recognizing people?
I can’t think of any other details at the moment, cept that I’ll volunteer to be the recorder at the Fest, and take notes of all our doings. If anybody really wants the job in my place, feel free to volunteer.
Anyway, we only have a week left! I’m giddy with anticipation!
Does anyone know which bus I should take to get to 5th Ave?
Medea’s Child and I were planning to show up early and claim some space (since they don’t take reservations). I’ll make a sign and put it on the table so you all can find us… though it may be easier just to look for the really strange people with a table for 10…

FYI, I might not even be going due to my last report card… Time to stop posting and back to doing homework (grumble).
I guess I’m going to have to assume that I’ll be picking up Guin. Since we’re getting down to the wire here, you should probably e-mail me the address. I’ll use mapquest or the equivalent and get directions from that. A description of the place and surroundings would be helpful.
My status remains in limbo.
I still haven’t firmed up plans for Valentine’s Day. If my wife and I end up going out alone then I shouldn’t have a problem avoiding a conflict with the fest.

The problem of recognizing eachother shouldn’t be too big a problem; just ask the guy at the front desk for the Cecil Adams group. That will most likely work. And yeah, I might stop by at some point to say hi and meet everyone, but I might be too busy celebrating my one friend’s birthday, so don’t include me when making reservations (and if whomever’s doing that hasn’t done it yet, I’d advise doing it soon; Gullifty’s on a friday night on valentines day weekend is going to be a nightmare. You all might wind up eating a block or two down at Eat’n’Park!)

HP - Gullifty’s doesn’t take reservations, or we’d have had them long ago. A couple of us are going up to tell them there’ll be a large group a day early (the procedure recommended to us when we asked), as well as showing up a bit early to hold the place… if that helps the peace of mind any…

Hi,
My mom is getting an emergency eye surgery on Friday, (MY BIRTHDAY!!!) so that means two things. I can forget about going out that night for obvious reasons and also I want to give her company after she comes home. As you can see nothing less would stop me from going to the Dopefest but I hope you guys have fun. Count me OUT, I will definitely try to make it to the next one. Le Sang, if I see you before Friday I’ll give you the complete low down.
