"Plant Macerat" diet plan: have you had any experience with it?

Yet another “can’t fail” diet I saw in today’s paper – an
extract of 16 plants that guarantees I’ll lose weight and not have to cut back on eating. As usual, sounds too good to be true. It doesn’t go into detail about the 16 plants, except that “some are diuretics while others, such as cardamom, act on the body’s reserves of stored fat, transforming them into energizing sugars.” Well, I know what cardamom is - I have it sitting on my spice shelf - but
what about the other 15 plants. The ad says the extract will “gently change your metabolism.” There’s a money-back
guarantee (isn’t there always?), but my concern is my health and what these plants are. Of course, there’s also a glowing testimonial from a woman (with before and after pix). Seems to me, if this extract worked as the ad says, it would be big news and they wouldn’t have to pay for an ad. Any of the temming millions have any info or experience with this diet?
