Wheeee! I remember these from my childhood - pretty sure we only got them for road trips, so they became a “special” snack for me. I’ll have to pick up a can.
Meh. The original Hawkins Cheezies remain the best cheese snack, by far.

Answering this question seriously, I don’t think Planters ever made those giant “party sized” containers of cheese balls. I’ve only seen store brands and Utz make 'em that size.
Finally got mine today!! As good as I remember. Now I need to get some UTZ to compare.
They’re even greasier than I remember; not very happy with that.
My wife thought they were too dry so maybe some inconsistencies between manufacturing plants. I thought the taste was like I remember with a bit of nutty flavor.
