Play Station 2 connected to a monitor..?

I have a Flatron L1810B TFT-DVI Monitor. Is it possible to connect the Playstation 2 to it?

If it has a vga connector too, yes. Expect to pay about $150 for a decent vga adapter box as ps2 games aren’t written for vga, so they look crap with a cheap adapter.

Could you put it through the the VGA adapter and then through a VGA to DVI converter? Or would that make it horribly ugly?

I thought of that too, but it’s getting a little bit too complicated & as I said, it just look fuzzy with a cheap adapter as they don’t write the games for vga.

I bought a Redant PS2 VGA adapter box online for about $40… I don’t know how good it is compared to other adapters, but it looks better than a TV. If your monitor has a VGA input, you should be able to use it.

The only problem I’ve had is it overheats and starts cutting out after a few hours.
